Wow, I can't even begin to describe how useful that could be for 
me.  Could you put z26_aud somewhere and/or post the source 
and/or a patch?  I might even fire up vmware to try that out.

Speaking of audio, does anyone know if z26 can be made to dump 
its audio output to disk instead of the sound system?  Under 
linux I'm sure I can come up with some bizarre solution to patch 
stella through JACK into some sound recorder program, but if z26 
will do it easier, again, I do have vmware....
