The minimum size of the debugger window is 1030x700.  So yes, it will be 
a little cut off in 1024x768.  I remember struggling with this last 
year, trying to fit as much as possible into that space.  Short of 
going with a smaller font and having a font-aware UI (which is coming 
in a future release), I don't know what to do about it for now.

But if the buttons on the right side are your only issue, note that 
there are keyboard shortcuts for most of them (see the debugger manual 
for details).
