At least z26 for DOS might still have the starfield support intact. ;-)

BTW, are you sure the problem with your joypad still happens even in the
latest versions of the SDL library? I just tried my old gameport joypad
from Gravis, and it seems to work fine with z26. What was the problem
again? Didn't it have something to do with the emulator not starting
when your joypad was plugged in?
